Kotak Mahindra Bank changes a/c type without information – deduct charges from account:
Mr. Atul Jain of Indore had posted a complaint on 03-09-2009 in the Forum with regard to Kotak Mahindra Bank changing his account type and debiting his account for non-maintenance of average quarterly balance. ICF took up the matter with Kotak Mahindra and the matter was finally resolved. Kotak Mahindra confirmed refunding the debited amount.

Refund from DTDC – Rs.1,040/-: Mr. Vivek Sharma of Bangalore, Karnataka (vivek0217[@]gmail.com) sent a courier through DTDC , reference number D17166789, on 10th May 2014 but it was lost on its way to Delhi. Package contained shoes worth Rs800 which was declared. He had submitted all documents in support of his claim of Rs 1040 (800+ 240 courier charges) but DTDC were not processing the same. Mr. Sharma posted his complaint with ICF on 12-08-2014 and finally got his claim settled by 04-09-2014.

Mr. Shraddha Raikar of Mumbai had booked ticket from Mumbai to Chicago through MakeMyTrip.com on 09-06-2009 through his credit card. Non-delivery by industrybuying.com – Rs.1,833/-: Mr. Ankur Saraf of Indore, Madhya Pradesh ordered Sony Headphones MDR450AP from the site industrybuying.com on 16-08-2015. Since then the company did not provide any kind of confirmation regarding Shipping or Delivery details either on cellphone or on mails. The company was not responding. Mr. Saraf posted his complaint with ICF on 18-08-2015 and the same was taken up with the Company and Mr. Saraf got the product by 26-08-2015.

Refund from Fitness First – Rs.3,000 – Ms. Aspriha Bhaumik of Indiranagar, Bangalore 560008, Karnataka had paid advance to a fitness club called Fitness First. The Club was later closed down but Ms. Bhaumik did not receive refund of the advance amount. She posted her complaint at ICF on 16-07-2016 and the matter was taken up with the Club. Shilpa Parulekar of Sewree, mumbai -15, maharashtra (Email: shylpa(at)yahoo.com) ordered some goods with Allschoolstuff.com by paying advance money. Goods were delivered only in part and for the remaining goods Ms. Shilpa had been sending repeated reminders but to no avail. She posted her complaint with ICF on 09-01-2013 and finally her issue got resolved by 15-01-2013.

Refund from Paytm – Rs.1095/-: Mr. Paresh Shah of Vesu, Surat made a recharge from my mobile for payment of Dish TV of Rs 1095. The transaction failed but the amount was deducted from his credit card. Even after a month he did not get his money back. He posted his complaint with ICF on 28-09-2016 and the issue was taken up with Paytm and the customer got his money back by 30-09-2016.

Refund from Air Asia – Rs. 2,660/- : Mr. Ramachandra Prabu of Chennai booked an Itinerary RICJGH on Air Asia airlines. The transaction failed during first time and the amount (Rs.2660) got deducted from my ICICI bank account. He raised a complaint with the airlines but got no response. His repeated attempts were in vain. He posted his complaint at ICF on 08-01-2015 and the matter was taken up with parties concerned. Mr. Prabu got his refund by 22-01-2015.
