MakeMyTrip fails to pay full refund

I had booked a connecting flight from Kolkata to Mumbai on 3rd Jan’2010. The flight schedule was as follows:

1. Jet Lite Codeshare 9W 7117 – Kolkata (Calcutta) (CCU) to Patna (PAT) Travel Date – Sun, 03 January 10, 17:35 hrs

2. Jet Airways 9W 728 – Patna (PAT) to Delhi (DEL) Travel Date – Sun, 03 January 10, 20:15 hrs

3. Jet Konnect 9W 2060 – Delhi (DEL) to Mumbai (Bombay) (BOM) Travel Date – Sun, 03 January 10, 22:30 hrs

Cancellation Confirmation
Due to foggy condition the Kolkata to Pune Flight was cancelled.I had called up the Jet customer care for any suitable option which they could not, suggesting me to cancel. I cancelled the same through MakeMyTRIP. After This they sent me a confirmation mail stating my full refund would be provided. They also sent me SMS stating that the amount would be credited to my credit card account. However on 10th Jan 2010, they mailed me that they have refunded me 6809 INR which is 1000 INR less. On my query they said, it was cancellation charge. Till then I have called them 10-12 times,each time they are saying they require stamped documents from airlines for the refund. This wasnt stated earlier. Now I am in Pune. To get the stamped paper i need to go to Mumbai which is 184 KM away and would cost me 500 INR atleast. When I asked them to settle these things amongst themselves they are saying they are unable to do the same.every day they are asking me for 24 hours and no 1 is contacting from their end with progress. I am uploading the cancellation document for the same. This way MMT is harassing me for the refund.

Please,my humble request to you is to look into this matter and provide justice to me.

    While we regret any inconvenience caused to you, the delay was due to the non receipt of stamped documents. As per airline rules, the stamped documents are required and necessary to process a refund. Your case has been treated as a rare exception.

    Thank u ICF for initiating the procedure for which i received the refund as on 25th Jan’2010.
    I would recommend everyone i know and encourage them to seek help from ICF.
