Canara Bank ATM cash dispensation complaint

Complaint against Canara Bank: I inserted my Canara Bank ATM card at State Bank of India Shahdara branch ATM on 20/10/09 at around 5.30 pm. Although the transaction was declined, my A/C with canara bank was debited without cash being dispensed and the slip simply said unable to process. Then again the incident happened in Oriental bank of commerce ATM (Branch id-NA170031)( Transaction No. 7846) dilshad garden. On 15/11/2009 at 18:52 I had attempted to withdraw Rs 2600 but again no cash was withdrawn but my canara account was debited. I had registered my complaint with Canara Bank, Okhla industrial estate, New Delhi branch personally, The manager Mr. Bhatnagar assured me that the amount would be returned back within a month, for which i had submitted a written application telling about the incident clearly. But till date no action has been taken. A total sum of Rs3000(from SBI ATM and Rs2600 from oriental bank of commerce ATM have been debited from my canara account)..I request you to please help me out and take proper action against the bank. rgds

    hello i can understand ur problem.file a complaint to banking ombudsman they will definitely help u to get back ur money.
