I FIRST RECEIVED AN SMS ON MY MOBILE ON 02/04/2009, WHICH READ AS FOLLOWS:

“FROM AT-WINNERS
CONGRAT!!! YOU HAVE WON GBP 250,000 IN THE 2009 (SHELL) INTL MOBILE DRAW WINNING #3. TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE CONTACT Dr RICHARD VIA EMAIL : shellpdc009@live.com”.

ACCORDINGLY I SENT AN EMAIL ASKING FOR THE DETAILS. I REPRODUCE THE REPLY RECEIVED HEREBELOW.

I HAVE TODAY GIVEN A MSG TO THE BELOW GIVEN EMAIL ADDRESS AS PER THE FORMAT FURNISHED IN THIS MSG. I AM SURE THIS IS ONE OF THOSE REPEATEDLY HAPPENING SCAMS. I AM FORWARDING THESE DETAILS TO GIVE ENOUGH PUBLICITY TO AVOID PEOPLE FALLING VICTIMS.

    I have received last email,which is attached below.As per email they told me to deposit stamp duty 0.1%(equivalent to Rs 37000.00).Please advice me what to do as early as possible.Today I have received two calls from 919873643618 & 919999490572 to deposit the money. Sender of the last no. decared that she is Sundi kumar of Reserve Bank Of India.Till now, I have not submitted any bank details.

    This is true about lottery but claiming is ridiculous. i got a lottery but the delivery co. demanded huge money for delivery. I lost 16730INR for delivery & they demanded more.

    Hey Guys!!! Don’t run yourselves into trouble.
    These are pretty planned fraud messages dragging your attention towards a huge amount.
    Even I got these sms’s but, never replied them. And still I’m getting these SMS’s.
    Simply delete such messages as early as possible. Never Expect free money from anyone.
