I recharged my Airtel digital TV (customer ID number 3004245416) on 31-12-2015 at 1.27 PM by Rs. 310.00 through airtel digitel tv online portal www. airtel.in. Payment was deducted from my credit card also I got the confirmation for the same from Airtel vide TXN ID 1231967205.

But TV services were not started even till 11 PM as well. Then I called the Airtel customer care and request them to resolve the issue ASAP as I was expecting some guest next day in the morning also my kid wanted to watch the TV.

I was told that this is due to some technical issue and asked me to wait for 20 minutes to get the services resumed and services were resumed and were continued till 10.30 AM 1/1/2016 and again services were stopped and a message appeared on TV saying due to low balance your airtel digital TV services have been suspended.

Now I again called at airtel customer care around 11 AM on 1/1 2016 and requested them to resume the services since I had guest at home but they said it will take 4 hours to resume the services. Nothing happened even after 4 hours as well and finally I got a call from Airtel customer care at 3.58 pm on 1/1/2016 saying service can not be resumed due to payment failure issue and my money will be returned in 7 days.

It was a big insult for me in front of my guest as they might have realized that I don’t have money even to recharge my TV and can not be compensated by saying that my money will be returned in 7 days.

I request you to look into this matter and help me to get the claim for my loss.
