Airticket issued with wrong journey date

Incorrect ticket received Value: 2296. I had booked my flight from Manglore to Mumbai on 5th April 2018. However post booking I received ticket of 16th March 2018. Soon, after receiving ticket I had called customer care to fix this situation. However, I was asked to either cancel or refund my ticket whose charges were equivalent to ticket fare. I find this very unfair to pay this amount.
