Refund from Snapdeal – Rs.4,598/-: Mrs. Sangita Poddar of Mumbai, Maharashtra had placed an order for Whirlpool microwave oven on 18-10-2014 with Snapdeal. Refund from Travolook – Rs.29,775/- : Mr. Arpit Makwana of Thane, Maharashtra tried to book tickets on the portal Travolook however the booking got cancelled due to fare expiration. Customer wrote to the portal for refund however did not receive the same. Customer approached ICF on 15-01-2021 and the matter was taken up with Travolook. Finally customer got refund by 03-02-2021. Refund from Subhbandhan matrimony – Rs.4,000/-: Mr. Harsimran Singh of Amritsar, Punjab registered with Subhbandhan matrimony services for suitable proposals by making a payment of Rs.4,000/-. As per the consumer, the agency provided fake number and contact for proposal was not genuine. Mr. Singh requested for refund which was denied. Replacement of damaged Su-Kam battery: Madhusmita Sahoo of Satsingha, Baniapat, Keonjhar, Orissa (sudhansu_999[at]rediffmail.com) bought Su-Kam Inverter & Tubular Battery in Mar-2013. Complaint against Nivea Soft Cream – Rs.1,529/-: Mrs. Rekha Goyal of Nangal, Punjab (goyal1961@yahoo.co.in) had posted a complaint with ICF on 02-12-2009 with regard to Nivea Soft Cream purchased from the local market. She had stated that her faced swelled on using the cream and she incurred Rs.1,529/- for treatment. Refund from Yepme – Rs.2,500/- – Mr. Komal Prabhu of Bicholim, Goa had returned a product to Yepme against order 32865300 dt.21-11-2016 and was expecting refund from them.
