Poor management of exam dates by SMU

I have to reappear for my 2 exams of B.com in SMU, but for past few semesters the date sheet they prepare is made somehow that both my exams clashes with each other being on same day and same time. They take exam fees in advance for both the exams but this is so stupid …

Complaint against Make My Trip for refund delayed for more than six months – Rs.9,993/-: Claudia Jones of Goa (happyecoclaudia(at)yahoo.co.uk) had to cancel a flight to Thailand on 30-04-2009 that was booked through Make My Trip. She was assured that she would receive a full refund. She did not get the refund even after six(6) months. She posted her complaint in ICF on 1.11.2009 and ICF submitted the complaint to Make My Trip. Ms. Claudia Jones got her full refund on 08-11-2009. Makemytrip - 09.11.2009

Refund from OYO-Life – Rs.7,999/- : Ms. Ankita Singh of Gurugram, Haryana moved out from OYO-LIFE on 2nd march. She was assured that refund was initiated by them on 7th march but she did not receive the money. She contacted the customer care many times but did not her money back. She posted her complaint with ICF on 28-04-2020 and ICF took the matter up with OYO. After several follow-ups and guidance to the customer, Ms. Singh got her refund back on 29/5. Gurugram, Haryana

Refund from Makemytrip.com – Rs.10,000/-: Mr. Sesha Sai Kuchibhotla, Hyderabad 500008, Telangana booked 2 student tickets on make my trip. Though the 3rd baggage was free for students on British Airways, he was charged Rs.10,000/- @ 5000 Rs per ticket. He raised a complaint with Makemytrip but it was not resolved even after 45 days. Customer charged for unsolicited debit card – Complaint against ICICI Bank: Dr. Boopathi Manickam of Madurai (psbmmba@yahoo.co.in) posted a complaint with ICF with regard to ICICI bank debiting charges on account of debit card issued by the bank but was not received by Dr. Manickam. Bank did not respond to his complaints. ICF submitted Dr. Manickam’s complaint to the bank and the charges were subsequently reversed. ICICI Bank - 30.12.2009

Refund from sports365.in – Rs.151/-: Mr. Sujeesh Paul, of Karakunnam, Puthupadi P.O., Muvattupuzha, Kerala (sujeeshgeorgepaul[@]hotmail.com) placed an order for a Quechua RAINCUT ZIP JACKET JUNIOR on 13th June, 2014 with sports365.in. Free memory card from Mobilestore: NISHIT GAIKWAD, AHMEDNAGAR, MAHARASHTRA (Email: nishitgaikwad16[at]rediffmail.com) had ordered mobile phone ( lava iris 349 ) with online shopping site THE MOBILE STORE order no. 3110395016834. At the time of ordering phone there was an offer of free memory card of 4GB. But when he received the phone there was no memory card along with the phone. Refund from Air Asia – Rs. 2,660/- : Mr. Ramachandra Prabu of Chennai booked an Itinerary RICJGH on Air Asia airlines. The transaction failed during first time and the amount (Rs.2660) got deducted from my ICICI bank account. He raised a complaint with the airlines but got no response. Refund from Jetairways – Rs.9,114/-: Pankaj Joshi, Arambagh, Delhi (Email: pankajjoshi_88[at]yahoo.com) booked a ticket with Jetairways, which was subsequently cancelled on 30.04.13 through online website and JetAirways generated refund receipt no.04914767635 of amount 9114 stating that amount will be credited within 7-10 working days. Refund from Slocum Management – Rs.10,000/-: Mr. Ritesh Kumar of Serilingampally, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (ritesh.keshwathkar[at]gmail.com) paid a sum of Rs.10,000/- against an advance of Rs.20,000/- to Slocum Management Consultancy for YEP. However, later, he decided not to take admission due to financial problems and had asked Slocum to cancel his application and refund the sum paid by him. MakeMyTrip.com fails to pay full refund – Rs.1000/-: Mr. Soutik Das (das.soutik@indiatimes.com) of Kolkata had received Rs.1,000/- short against the cancellation refund of his air tickets booked through MakeMyTrip.com.
