Refund from Travolook – Rs.29,775/- : Mr. Arpit Makwana of Thane, Maharashtra tried to book tickets on the portal Travolook however the booking got cancelled due to fare expiration. Customer wrote to the portal for refund however did not receive the same. Customer approached ICF on 15-01-2021 and the matter was taken up with Travolook. Finally customer got refund by 03-02-2021. Refund from Kidzee – Rs.14,500/-: Mr. Sankar Roy of Barasat, Kolkata 700128 had admitted his daughter at junior kg at kidzee barasat, kolkata, for the new session to be started from April 2015. But before starting of the new session he applied for the withdrawal of his daughter from the school and requested to refund the fees of Rs.14500 which the school authorities denied to refund. Refund from Fitness First – Rs.3,000 – Ms. Aspriha Bhaumik of Indiranagar, Bangalore 560008, Karnataka had paid advance to a fitness club called Fitness First. The Club was later closed down but Ms. Bhaumik did not receive refund of the advance amount. She posted her complaint at ICF on 16-07-2016 and the matter was taken up with the Club. Complaint against Yatra.com for refund – Rs.2,428/-: Ms. Indirani Rao of Mumbai had booked a ticket on GoAir from Mumbai to New Delhi through Yatra.com. After the payment was made, she was advised by Yatra.com that the booking was unsuccessful as no tickets were available. Ms Rao called up the agency to complain, and was assured that the money would be refunded in a week’s time. Complaint against ABN Amro for debiting twice for a single IRCTC ticket booking transaction – Rs.1290/-: Jahnavi Ayachitam of Bangalore had tried to book train ticket from IRCTC(site using ABNAMRO debit card on 2nd May 2009 for Rs.1290 from Bangalore to Hyderabad.
