I bought a PS4 online from eBay on 29th Aug 2015. It worked fine for almost over a year. 1 month after the warranty expired, my PlayStation4 stopped reading discs and ejecting them. I took it to the Sony service centre in Bengaluru Jayanagar 7th Block. I was told that they will send it to the head office and call me back within 10 days.

I waited and did not get any call. I decided to follow up and got a response that I would get 50% of on MRP when actually it should have been 70% discount. I called up the customer care and they mentioned that “If I wanted more discount, I can write an email to Sony India and ask for it” This completely turned me off. I should not be writing an email to them describing their own policies to them and begging for what is rightfully mine.

I have written the email to them and I have just got a complaint number and so far no resolution, they also mention that I should give them Demand Draft and after that they would process my order. Which according to me is completely unfair. If I give them a DD I should receive the replacement immediately.

Can someone please help me?? Attached the job sheet from Sony service centre.
