I, would like to your notice an unfortunate incident which occurred due to your hotel mistake.
On 14th August, 2018, I booked rooms in your hotel Mahakal Ring Road Near CHL Hospital, Hari Fatak Nanakheda Ujjain India 456010 form agoda.com thought Trivago. After making the booking I reached your hotel for my stay. However the manager of that hotel denied us the rooms due to non availability. I was in utter shocked because I already had made the payment and was still denied the rooms. But then I called up to your support services wherein the executive admitted that by mistake they accepted the booking and tried to offer me the gift voucher equivalent to the amount of the payment made by me.
Meanwhile the hotel manager switched off the lights of the entry area where I was sitting with my family and was trying to find another place. But the manager was so inhuman that he even lacked basic manners to behave well. Nonetheless I could not find another room or hotel for my family and unfortunately had to stay outside(literally on streets).
Now my question is that who is responsible for this incident. Had your hotel not accepted my booking knowingly or unknowingly, I would have booked another hotel timely and not spend our night on roads. Secondly I spent close to 2 hours with your executive and hotel manager to get a way out because your booking team made this blunder, but both your hotel manager and executive left me in desperation and a helpless situation.
This whole incident took place around 11.15 pm onwards. After wasting so much of my time I had to come out of the hotel and spent the night on the road. I am being harassed along with my family that we were there on road. There was no security at all, what if something had happened to any one of us, would your booking team had come to our rescue. How can your team make such blunders and accept payment for non available rooms. Instead of giving my money back or making rooms available your customers care executive was offering me a gift voucher.
For this mental harassment I claim to have a apology from your hotel along with a compensation for Rs. 30000 from your hotel. Also I request your team to be more vigilant with their duty so that no other person like me suffer because of trusting your hotel. In case you have clarifications, connect with me.
In case I am not being heard or no necessary action is being taken on my complaint of harassment without any undue delay , I would take this matter to the law of court.
