Complaint against cable operator

This is regarding the cable operator service and set top box related complaint. I have bought set top box on February 2016 and all docs submitted at same time….since then set top box was on till march 2016.. Post one month suddenly cable operator stopped d services on 15th march and after lots of follow up with cable operator he confirmed that services have been discontiniewed due to non submission of document which were already submitted by us…..we again submitted the document 3 days back but he is not responding and making argument…..we called set top box customer care nd they confirmed no registration till date with my name …..which is very strange as we already availed services for one month….don’t know what is happening at cable operators place which bid finally impacting d consumer like us…request you to please look into this

    In talcher cabletv there is a lot of problem face customers in our locality that is manikamara in a week if 3 days customer see tv and other 4 days they can’t see tv because so many problem by cable operator.

    I’m S. Manikandan from Devakottai, sivagangai district, tamil Nadu. In my area only one cable operator available to service. But unfortunately he was fully fet with money..

    He asks 1500rupees for new connections.. But the people’s having no way because he is only the cable operator in my town..

    He abused rate of pay at every month with poor quality of service and less channels..

    I Hope this message lead to good cable service with lesser money.

    Dear Sir,

    Initially i bought HD set up box from Cable operator of Rs. 3200/-.This HD Set up box worked only for two months.When i complaint about this faulty HD set up box, my cable operator gave me normal set up box,stating that he will repaired HD set up box free of charge .But till date he did not gave that HD set up box.Now my normal set up box is also out of order .He ask me to pay Rs. 1000/- for repairing HD set up box or Rs. 400/- for repairing normal set up box.I complaint regarding the same to our nodal cable service provider i.e UCN (Universal Cable Network,Nagpur) but nobody has resolve my complaint yet.We are fade up with the service given by our local cable operator.

    I live in old alwal,Hyderabad.In my area TV operator doesn’t even respond to our problem and we couldn’t watch TV since three weeks.when we on the TV ‘no signal’ is seen.so please respond to my request.thank you so much

    I am a resident of Pune. My cable operator is ICC networ and there customre care no. is 66094444. The are charging for all the channels. when I visited there store for plan change they said they don’t have ALA Card, i.e. i cant chose channel which i want to see and have to pay for all the channels. They also mentioned that government has no such rule as pay for only those channels which I want to see. Please help me.

    I stay in bhubaneshwar.i have connection of cable TV from ORTEL communication, orissa for my TV. My consumer no is 00857810, I have facing problem with problem the last 15days. Already 8times complain has been logs with their customer care but they told always we tray solve today but no results it’s very unfairly.. Please do the needful.

    We suffer major interruption in viewing Asianet cable services from last several months. Put complaint of toll free number many times. Still not repaired the issue.

    No 1 worst service in villivakkam sidco nagar cable colleceting 500 which was refundable in all area once we changing the place but hear 500 which we have to pay that they will not return back and worst clarity also

    Cable operator service in my villagr is pathatic, signal drop issues all times. Operator never pick up calls and there is no complain docket mechanism. He never provide original bills.

    very worst service from cable operator at nagole sri venkataramana colony never give full signals to the set up box every day we find there will be no signal each and everyday we need to call them and ask what happened they reply the same we are trying to make it done …

    I am facing regular issue with IN cable TV. Whenever try service center number they said contact to local service center who are always unreachable.

    Sir I have cable connection form FW Radiant by local operator. My cable operator not give me tax paid bill in this regard I complaint cable operator. He disconnect my connection. I talk Radiant customer care in this matter but he reply me he can not help me. He said me local operator give and not.

    My name is Azim i stay in bhandup pathan colony i have In Cable connection our cable operator give a very bad service every month he collect Rs 300/- but he does not recharge on time his mobile number is also switched off most of time its take to take to recharge after 2 – 3 days till that service is off.
    request to take a proper action.

    hello sir i have cable connection of FW (fastway) from local cable provider satyam cables. i have complaint regarding satyam cables. he charges me Rs 280 per month. he is not providing good service. from two day my setup box is showing signal not found. whenever i am contacting him he is not responding my calls and if he is responding he is saying i will solve it but not now. sir plz solve my problem

    Hii Sir, I am from Odisha, dist -puri.
    Here we have facing more problems due to the cable operators. There is only one cable operator for our area. I called him many times for new connection in my home but he do not respond. After calling many times he picked the call and told that it will take 5 days to put connection. I heard that he is a toxicated person and whole day stayed with drunk therefor he needed many days for do a cable connection. Requesting you to please solve the issue of our area, in a hurry basic.

    hello sir I am Arpita . I want to file complaint against cable operators who are still providing TV access without set-top box in village – sarkhon,Dist – Janjgir-champa,Chhattisgarh.
    Transmitting analog signals on cable tv network in any part of the country is banned from 1st April as per the instruction of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

    Hi This Is Prakash Bhoite From Kharvai Badlapur Maharashtra.
    Our Cable Operator is not allowing to take any other DTH like Tata Sky, Big TV or Tikona cable net, services other than him. I went to police station but they said we can do any any thing in this case go to court .
    Cable operator (Jesika Cable Operator) is doing Gunda Gardi if we take other cable or net connect.
    What to do Plz guide me

    Hi,
    Im Videocon tv user, and today on 24th Sep they have stopped DD1 CHANNEL. And when i called to CCARE they said as per service line and orderded by supreme court can’t show live sports on DD1 Channel and saying to active Star sports on 45 rupee charges.
    Is this correct info?

    Our cable operator is not responding our problem…..since 1 month….he is not telecasts &tv,v6 channels
    We gave a complaint to him so many times…..but he does not care

    I am Dr. Kamadev Pati. I am leaving at Naharakanta, Bhubaneswar, Dist khurda Odisha. In our are Maruti cable is giving cable TV service. But I am not satisfied with this service. When I called Mr. Amarendra Swain (owner of this particular organization), maximum time he never pick the calls. He give false commitment. He is not able to resolve the problems. In our area cable is not working properly. I can not able to see anything in my TV.
    Please take care of this matter.

    Sir my cable operator is Jhanjra cable and broad band services at Jhanjra dist Burdwan West Bengal 713385 .
    they provide us a very poor and irresponsible cable service .
    They use govt electricity for free for the operation of cable service in our area .. and whenever electricity cut our cable service also got disrupted for 3-5 hrs per day ..
    On calling they don’t attend our calls and on asking for better cable service they say to switch over to Tata sky or other services ..
    Is it the right way to talk with the subscribers ?
    Sir please take this matter seriously and protect our interest from their pathetic service and their arrogance level ..

    I am dharmapuri district and nallampalli panchyat therethakulam in my cable operator asked to money Rs 1300/- to set top box but govt told only to Rs 200 for instalation fee but he ask more money to our area.

    Problem we are facing problem with operater and we taken the new connection and paid 2000rs for setup box and installation,but he is giving old setup box and said new boxes not available and one received will replace still not replaced .
    And last two connection disconnected,showing( you not unauthorized to view this channel)

    Dear All,
    This is to bring to your attention the pathetic service Sona Cable, now known as 7 Star Digital has been providing.
    Every now and then their network is down and subsequently also their internet; They take money from us in advance claiming they don’t have monthly package, rather only yearly packages and then leave us with no option but to dance to their tunes.
    Every holiday/ or Sunday they have some maintenance or some or the other issue; and needless to say their phones are either switched off or they don’t take the calls, which rather than calming us down aggregates our frustration.

    Isn’t there any way that we can bind these companies on giving us better service and also to compensate us for the downtime beyond a certain period?

    I’m genuinely looking for guidance and feedback on where to raise this issue so that these cable operators get bound to give us proper service. The only prompt and instant service is when you want to opt for a new setup box, or a new package or something where they get some money from you…

    My cable service operators every month the increase the amount for monthly payment .my set top box stopped working he spoke to a company and said rs200 will be chargeable I agreed to it later on he suddenly said I have to pay 500 rs for the same without any reason .so I couldn’t agree with the cable connection office

    Rakesh Bhatia from Narela Delhi A5 Pkt 1 our Cabel operates charge Rs 250 just for hindi channels and Hindi News from December 2017 he stop to show Zee News and all channels of Zee.We complaint too many times earlier said some technical problems after 2 months now he wants to increases the money .Before that more then one month News India 18 also stop for more then one month reason technical problems .In Ash ok Bihar and other parts of Delhi Maximum Rs 250 for Hindi and English programs ..He not shoes any kind of English Movies Sports and English news also .More then 40% of screen is covered with his own advertising. If we complaint about any thing his answer this is from Den Okhla we are helpless for this .Please see this matter ASAP Thanks .

    My cable operator is not being cooperative. It is charging me three hundred rupees per month. We see the cable networks in two days and rest of the days cable fault. It’s named Manoranjan cable networks. I said that you change my cable line. He said to me that when all the line will disturbed then I will change. So I would kindly request you to please take a quick action regarding this
