In the month of September I ordered a pack of two leggings (green and white) from one online shopping site. The company name of leggings which was displayed on the site was Pragya. But when I received the product the name of brand written on the packets of leggings was krishna. I found the quality of the product very poor. So I decided to return it. I registered a return complain on snapdeal. The very next day their salesman took the product from me, after checking it. I returned both the leggings green and white. Within a week I received cashback in my bank account of rs.277. But on 17th October I got a phone call from the leggings company- krishna, putting a false blame on me. Stating that I had returned them one of my old black leggings in place of their leggings. The company defamed me. Without even asking the middleman who took the product from me, the company threatened me. If I wouldn’t have returned genuine product, then how snapdeal returned my money? Since snapdeal returned my money, that means they have received genuine product from me. But the leggings company has put a false blame on me. And I want to file a suit of defamation against the leggings company-krishna. If the product is misplaced by middleman during returning it to the company, then how customer is responsible for the mistake?
