I had done a booking at “www.globaltriporganiser.com” on 25th for 2 nights and 3 days trip to Kerala from 29th September 2017 to 1st October 2017 including Volvo bus booking(Bangalore to Cochin dated 28th September) and Cochin to Bangalore (1st October 2017). The hotel and houseboat booking details along with the Volvo bus service name and timings were communicated to me over e-mail. I’ll be enclosing the e-mails as attachments herewith.
I had made an online payment of Rs 10870 as advance amount on the below mentioned bank account of “globaltriporganiser” on 23rd September.
The payment was realized and amount was deducted from my bank account on 24th September.
But on the date of travel “28th September” in the afternoon I was told that the bus booking couldn’t be confirmed due to the long weekend rush (29th Sep 2017 till 2nd October 2017). Also when I enquired the hotel “Michaels Inn” about the room booking on my name or the travel agent name, I learnt that there were no bookings done on that day on either my name, agent name or travel agent name.
The travel agent had promised to refund the advance amount of Rs 10870 the next day but even after 10 days the amount is not refund. They have stopped to replying on my e-mails and cut the phone calls as soon as I ask about my money.
My sister in law’s family had also planned to visit Kerala at the same time so that we all could meet. Due to this fraud we couldn’t go and their trip was also affected due to this.
My family had done all packings and we were all set to go when we came to know that booking itself was not done.
It was a sheer waste of time and money with huge mental trauma and frustration for all of us.
I want to claim Rs 50000 as the compensation amount against this fraud done by the travel agent.
