Complaint against Jet Airways for refund of double charge

1. On 16 May 2015, I tried booking flight from Hyd-Blr on Jet airways app on my android OS mobile. There was no intimation of the credit card getting charged for more than 3 minutes. I reentered the details and tried to book again. Again the app crashed without confirming the payment details.

As I had to travel the next day, I immediately got on to cleartrip and booked my ticket.

After the booking is done on cleartrip, I have received the booking of Jetairways and the debits came through intimating me through messages.

2. An amount of Rs.4587/-was debited twice from my credit card, inspite of not getting confirmation from the app that the ticket has been booked.

3. After 20 minutes, when I got the message of debits and details of booking, I immediately called Jet Airways call centre. I immediately connected to Jet Airways IVR and finally ended up talking to one Lxxxt, who insisted that the ticket has been booked and he cannot cancel and I need to go online and cancel. The cancellation is not possible through the app which I have on mobile. I finally got onto the internet, though I was on move and through his guidance I could cancel the ticket which reflected in my login. As I was being guided by him I received another message of charge on my card. Then I asked him that there seems to be another booking that has happened which he said he is not able to see on the net. I re confirmed about the debit which he said will be reversed if any. Finally to my dismay I see only one credit. (PNR:XIOAPS). I asked him specifically whether there is any other ticket booked. He replied that there is no other ticket booked. But I told him that there are two debits on my credit card.

5. Iam following up for that credit.

6. From that date I am corresponding with Jet Airways. They are simply dodging to respond. Everytime I mail they send a standard mail back stating that they will come back within 72 hours and till date they have asked me to send the credit card statement in all the formats possible. First I sent the screenshot of debits and credits. After 10 days I get a reply stating that they cannot open the attachment. Then I sent it in pdf, which they never came back. This is over and above the text format which I sent them as mentioned below.

This is not the first time I was facing the issue with the app. I faced it earlier as well and I had to fight for three month before I got my credit.
