The warranty period of my Nokia Asha 306 handset was extended by the Company’s service center located in Gariahat,Kolkata, in return of a payment of Rs. 525 made by me to the Company. However when I went to update my software, which is a service free of charge under warranty period, I was not only denied the service but unjustly harassed by the front desk associates as well as some senior officer. I was subjected to their rude behaviour also.

The service center took the warranty extension fee but at that time did not mention that if the hardware is damaged then any software malfunction would not be looked at. They kept this important information from me and now they are stating that there has been a hardware malfunction in my phone and they would not “touch the phone”.

The receipt number for the warranty extension fee is 3885.
I would be highly obliged if strict action is taken against this service centre.
