Complaint regarding Amazon product delivery

I had placed an order for product on Amazon on 22nd August 2018. While buying it was showing it will be delivered on 24th August 2018.

I got msg. mentioning contact number of Amazon agent who is out for delivery of my product. When I called him , he said he’s on leave and some other boy is using his id !!!

So I wait till end of day then at night as I have received msg your package is on the way will be delivered around 8-9 pm.

No one turned up for delivery. At night at 11:45 pm in the app the status shown that ” agent tried to call you but you were not reachable” .. Surprisingly i haven’t received any call from agent.

I called Amazon customer services but they have updated status product will be delivered till 28th August. After calling around 15 times in customer service they haven’t updated order status in application.

Moreover,when i sent a feedback email for the same than they have mentioned that your product will be delivered via india postal services. But in app and Amazon agent showing that your package will be delivered via Amazon transport service .

I really don’t understand whether they are going to escalate my issue or not because everytime i got same answer that your product will be delivered on 28th. They said that they don’t have any control over logistic department of Amazon Transport Service.

    Finally I got msg package is misplaced. Now I’m struggling to initiate refund from them. It’s their responsibility if they can’t deliver product they should initiate refund immediatey.
