Complaint regarding Aquaguard servicing under AMC

We have a Eureka Forbes Aquaguard model Reviva which was purchased in 2009. We have also purchased a service contract worth Rs.8200 for the same for the duration of 02/07/15 to 01/07/17. Customer ID 1010359264.

On 10/04/16 morning the Aquaguard did not switch on which was working till previous night. In the afternoon call to Eureka Forbes Servicing Helpline was made. I spoke to Mr. Yxxxxj who took down my complaint (complaint no. 86544658) and told me someone will be coming in 2 days to inspect the product. On 12/04/16 Mr Vxxxy Kxxxxxr came to our residence to inspect the model and gave report that there seemed to be an adapter problem which needs to be replaced but was not available with him so he would return back the next day with the required items.

After that nobody has turned up at our residence for the Aquaguard. We have made many calls to Mr. vxxxy Kxxxxxr’s manager at number__. He said the adapter was not in stock and take another day to come. After that last call on 13/04/16 he has not picked up our call at his number despite calling repeatedly.

On 14/04/16 I called the helpline again telling them that nobody had turned up and there was no drinking water in the house. This was made a high priority complaint (complaint no. 86608308) which was taken by Mr. Rxxj Sxxxxxr. He told me that someone would be in touch with me soon and would get me servicing immediately. Nobody responded even that day.
I made another call on 16/04/16 finding Mr. Rxxj Sxxxxxr again on the line and he said today for sure somebody will respond and will do the needful. I told him very clearly that if no action was taken for my complaint I would take this matter to consumer court. I asked him to please forward the same message to the manager respectively. I have waited full day and still no service has been provided to me.

It has been 6 days without drinking water at home. We have to go purchase water from outside. Nobody seems to be taking responsibility of their work at Eureka Forbes Servicing despite the reminders and warnings. Also, the contract provides periodical servicing twice a year for 2 years. It has been 10 months since purchase of the AMC contract. No servicing or regular checking has been done till date.
