Complaint regarding change in mode of Flipkart refund

I had couriered faulty mobile as requested by Flipkart against assurance that the courier amout will be refunded back. Flipkart first written to me to to give bank details and then informed in next e-mail that refund has been processed. It will appear in bank account in @5business days.
After about 20 days when I enquired about refund transaction details Flipkart agents saying they have refunded in the form of gift card valid for 1 year and I shall use that for next purchase. I want to receive money back in my account as I don’t intend to purchase anything on Flipkart. I spent money over and above mobile price as Flipkart don’t have faulty product pick up facility in Pune. and now begging to Flipkart for reimbursement.
I have complained to Flipkart and got written response from Flipkart for not refunding amount in bank account.
Amount is small but I have issue with change in mode of payment unanimously by Flipkart.
