I and my mother hold a Saving Account at AXIS Bank Ballia. I have dropped a cheque issued in favour of my mother Mrs. NITA SRIVASTAVA on 23/11/2015 at AXIS Bank Ballia. The cheque details have been loaded in the system there on 28/11/2015. After a period of around 7 days I inquired about the cheque status on which I was told by the Branch Manager that there is some server/technical issues so they will send the cheque for clearing withing a day or two. I waited for another 10 days but there was again no update. Finally, on 11/12/2015 I received an SMS that the cheque has been forwarded for clearing and the very next hour I received another SMS that the cheque has been returned unpaid. I immediately registered a complain on AXIS BANK toll free number and requested them to represent the cheque again for clearing as I was again given the reason for failure that Connectivity Error. I inquired about the matter on 14/12/2015 and again I am not given any update about the cheque. I am sufferring a loss which AXIS bank will not able to pay ever. I was to submit my education fees before 18/12/2015 but I am finding it very difficult. I want to claim the loss on AXIS Bank. I lost the interest on that amount for that period. AXIS bank is a reputed firm and I have been using AXIS Bank from last 5 years and never had such complain but this time it has proved me wrong. Details: Amount: 25940/-, Issuing Bank: UCO Bank
