I would like to make a request that I ordered coolpad note 5 on 26th of January 2017 for Rs11000, which was delivered on 28th of January. On 4th of Feb, I noticed that while making a call, the phone became hot and stopped working.
I took it to the nearest service centre of coolpad at district centre Janak Puri (Delhi) on 6th of Feb and on 15th Feb, I got a call from service centre for collecting the phone. On reaching the service centre, I was told by the service centre people that the phone has some hardware issue and requires Rs 8000. They also said that I have to pay Rs 230 as service charges. I reminded them that the Phone carry one year warranty, but they refused to repair the phone.
I even talked to Coolpad customer care more than 10 times. They kept assuring me that they will look in to the matter. Every time I talked to customer care people, they often said that they are not able to connect to service centre, they also said that I will get a call back from the seniors of the company but that never happened. One one occasion I was told that I will be connected to seniors and was made to wait for half an hour and then the call got disconnected. After this when I again tried to call them, it says that the number does not exist (probably my phone was blocked).
I realy feel frustrated and cheated at the hands of amazon.in (online seller of the phone) and coolpad (the company which manufactures such substandard phones for Indian market.). The product for which I paid Rs.11000, was not worth a penny and is still lying with the coolpad Service Centre
Sir, I am herewith enclosing a copy of Invoice, copy of jobsheet, and a copy of screen shot which clearly mentions about the warranty for the product.
Therefore, I request your goodself to look into matter and I hope that with your kind help, I will get justice and hundreds of other Coolpad customers will be saved from being cheated.
