I had purchase an IFB washing machine ( Model: TL SDG 9.5 kg Aqua, Serial No. 1524263) from Aditya Vision, Taramandal, Patna on 14.5.2016. The technician came to install the machine on 16.5.2016 and informed us that the machine was defective. It took 5 working days to get the unit replaced and a new machine( Serial No: 021114160409003342) was received and installed on 21.5.2016.
When we tried using the machine again on 23.5.2016, we found that water was leaking from it from the bottom. We logged a complaint immediately ( complaint no. : 17847290 and 17865410). After much followup with the men at patna service centre ( i called them for a minimum of 15 times) , a technician visited us on 24.5.2016 and informed us that the hose pipe fitted inside the machine had cracked. A new hose pipe was fitted on 25.5.2016. We again tried operating the machine on 27.5.2016 but water is leaking from the same place. We again complained at the service centre ( complaint no. 17875708). A technician( Mr. Mxxxxxh) visited and informed that the hose pipe has cracked again. The technician also informed that the position at which the hose pipe is placed, it will crack everytime we run the machine. We tried contacting the manager at Patna Service Centre, Mr. Axxxxm but he has said that he wont be able to visit us before 31.5.2016. We are facing immense problems because of this. We want a complete refund of the money ( Rs. 30000) and also a compensation of Rs. 30000 for the mental harassment that we have been through for past 14days.
