I have placed an order for a full HD LED LG television for my parents from Snapdeal.com which was supposed to be delivered by 13th April, 2016. But, as usual they didn’t deliver on time. Due to some medical emergency my parents had to plan to go Bangalore on 16th April, 2016. We thought if the delivery goes beyond 16th, we will cancel the order. With that intention we called customer care and asked them the same, at the same time we informed them about our non-availability from 16th April. They ensured us that the product will be definitely delivered by 15th April and requested us not to cancel the order. So, we also agreed to their request. But, again same result, it was not delivered even on 15th April as well. Finally, it was delivered on 17th April and our neighbor had to receive it. Our neighbor had kept the product very carefully. On 2nd May, 2016 my parents were back home and they opened the packet. And the worst part was they found a huge crack on the screen of the television. And without repairing the crack, the T.V is of no use. We immediately called Snapdeal customer care and initially they told they will definitely exchange it. But again they called us back and told it won’t be replaced as it had already crossed 7 days. But, they don’t understand that due to their miscommunication and delay only, this had happened. Now, the T.V is of no use. Kindly help to resolve this issue.
