I bought a orient his speed fan (orient norwester decor ) having serial number FC1748AQ000869. I bought it through online ecommerce website i.e. Pepperfry on 24th april 2017. The fan is 2 years warranty. I kept it as it is packed and installed it in March 2018 at my new residence. However it didn’t worked even for one day. I logged a complaint with orient and pepperfry and requested for replacement. But they denied and said they will only repair the fan. I agreed and next day after so many calls the engineer came in the evening and tried to repair it but he was not able to do so and once the company regional manager became rude with me and even told me to donate the fan but he will not replace it and closed the first complaint id. Next day i logged a new complaint and the manager requested to let them replace the fan parts atleast once a time. I agreed him and after 2 days engineer came will all new parts and fitted the fan but he again failed to clear the fault. and said that he will take the fan to his workshop the next morning. He didn’t came. Even i called him for 2 to 3 days consecutively but all in vain. Now as per terms and conditions if a company is not able to repair the appliance then they offer replacement but they are not giving that also. They are just passing warranty period of appliance. Now i have givien them last chance to either replace the fan or i shall move to consumer court.
