I have placed an order of a queen size bed on pepperfry.com (dated 26.07.2105) [Order No. – 301351969]. Apart from just the payment towards the order, I filled form-16 of pepperfry.com which is required to be filled by customers in Kerala. They also demanded a copy of ID proofs which was sent within specified deadlines.
The order was scheduled to be shipped immediately as soon as I place order. I got 1 message on my e-mail informing me about a delay and regretting the same on 4th August. This said, the product will reach me within next 7 days i.e 11th August.
Since then, I have been calling them continuously and listening to the lies of 4 different customer executives in 4 different calls. every time they say it will leave the Bangalore warehouse within 2 upcoming days. This number is not a toll-free number.

I recorded the 4th call and asked them to call me back on my number(which I have been asking them all the time), this guy said that they will call me by 8 pm “sharp” on 22.08.2015.
Again lied.

Meanwhile they have sent me mails saying the same old “regret the inconvenience message” 3 times recently everyday, clearly they don’t regret anything.

When I wrote to them, I will move to consumer court, still they remained unmoved and sent me the same message again. They haven’t called me even once in all this 1 month.

I seek right guidance, how to go about this case. I want to make pepperfry.com understand that they have been extremely listless and unprofessional in their deal with me.

I can also share later, the audio recording of the customer care executive, who has lied to me, in which you can clearly understand that he doesn’t have any clue as to when they are going to deliver the product.
