Complaint regarding double Airtel prepaid recharge

I  had recharged online on airtel prepaid recharge website which was unsuccessful yesterday morning at 5.24am but Rs.448/- got debited from my account. I thought it would get refunded so i recharged again which was successful and Rs.448/- got debited again. After half an hour i got a sms saying recharge done for the second time. When e-mailed regarding this issue, they say amount cannot be refunded as recharge has been done twice.
