Had bought a tresemme shampoo from big bazaar ahmedabad in the beginning of march 2016. It came with a hair dryer as a combo pack. A week later took out the hair dryer and found after one use it has given up. 12th march 2016 found an ad in the Times of India (attaching the file) stating that the hairdryer was a faulty piece and that if called on the toll free no. (1800-3000-9588) they would register a complaint and replace it with a gift hamper. Did just that and made a call to them on the 16th of March 2016. Received a message that read: “Thanks for contacting us. Your request id is RQ285. You will receive your TRESemme hamper in next 10-15 days.” Waited for 20 days to give them the benefit of the doubt. No sign. Made a call again and spoke to them giving them my request id no. The lady who answered (cant remember her name) was extremely apologetic and said that they were looking into it that a call would be made to me regarding the same and for delivery of the package. Waited another 15 days (giving them the benefit of the doubt yet again) and finally made the call again and to my dismay found out that the toll free no.disconnects immediately after connecting. This has been happening since April. There was a day in between wherein i finally managed to get through the call but only got a recorded message informing that i should call during their business hours between 9 am to 9 pm. I had called on a Tuesday at 1130 am. If there was no intention of replacing it then why put an ad in the newspaper?! Was it just to get out of the legal screw ups that they can get into?! And is this how TRESemme treats their customers?!
