I had purchased a Gionee E Life S5.5 model cell phone from “The Prime” a dealer in kolkata on 29-5-2014 for Rs 21000 approx, but the phone stopped working(dead) on 13-10-14. I sent it to my nearest service centre at Prayas Infocomm 10 Waterloo street kolkata. They gave a receipt same day which stated that “Set Dead, Liquid on pcba”.  After couple of days they called me to say that Rs 9500 will be charged if I want my phone back in working condition, to my amazement ! I felt cheated, since the phone was under warranty period only, and the faulty handset should have been replaced or repaired by the company.

Since I did not want to pay for cell under warranty , I took the phone back from the service centre. Now I want to get either my cellphone replaced nor my money back since I find that the handset is faulty since it has some manufacturing defect.

I am attaching a scanned copy of letter of receipt by the service centre.

I’m also bought gionee elife e7 in 2014 but there is language issue Gujarati language not support to this phone in whatsapp account this phone is 50% meaning less because I’m just using watsapp. I told about it to Co directly via email to their helpdesk 2-3 time but they just give answer “we r trying our best” last since 1 year. I’m also meet service center near me but can’t get solution. Customer care also not receiving my phone. Pls help me to solve my issue.

The hand set Marathan M4 ,display of which damaged was taken with Rs.1500.00 without issuing job card by Gionee Service centre,Meerut (U.P.) on 06.10.2016 assuring that the hand set shall be delivered on 11.10.2016.On contacting on 11.10.2016,the manager of service centre said that the handset shall be repaired after 15 days as the part(s) in courrier.On enquiry from the inventory cell,it reveals that the demand from the service centre have not sent till now for required parts.And response of the staff is not satisfactory.

    I live in Jaipur, Rajasthan. I have Gionee P 5 mini. I have upgraded my phone but after the upgradation is completed, it refer to go for reeboot. So i took it to the Gionee service center for the cure of this problem. but the person present in the service center he told me that the phone has a display problem, display need to be changed. They also broke my memory card.
    Please change the person. they are not eligible.

Sir this is to inform u that i m a loyal customer od gionee…as my previous smatphone was vionee v4s and now i have upgraded to gionee s6 pro…..sir but seems my previous phone didnt give any disturbance though the specification are low compared to later…..s6 pro seems to freeze frequently which is very annoing….

  8. Sir my phone gionee f103 pro nd i have faces many problems in the duration of only six months my phone has gone 3times in service centre nd very large nd most wanted problem is a bettry in this phone ……nd i dont get any solution……

    I bought a gionee phone in the month of November but since last 1 month I am facing problems like Application error,Phone Hang and automatic restart, so I have gone 3 times in service centre but they didn’t do anything and problem still resist, so once again I submitted my Handset on 11th May’17 to service centre, My complain no. is GC17500056120. Since that I have regular follow with customer care and they always said, we will deliver within 2-3 days but still I didn’t get my phone. I am facing a huge problem on my regular activity due to this.
    Kindly do the needful on top priority.

  10. I bought a Gionee mobile set, model PL5 on 9/4 /2017. From 12/4 2017 it was create problem. On 19/4 /2017 the set become death. I submitted the set to replace, but company denied to replace or repare. I’m socked. Pls help me

  11. one month ago, i purchased gionee mobile and now mobile is not charging after being switch off. i have already gave my mobile to concern service center(Kamla nagar). But two days latter again i am facing same problem, so disgusting and poor service i have ever seen in my life.

  12. my gionee S plus mobile under warranty was facing charging problem. the set was given to gionee care on 26.7.17. till today the set is not repaired. besides several complaint all the time i am informed that the part is under shipment and the mobile will soon be repaired. such a ridiculous service.

  13. Phone not repaired by the care centre .after along period of one month. I am really tourcher by ur engineer as they did not pic my phone. Mother board of my phone was replaced but not replaced after one month spell. I got the phone in Nov. 2015. Really a good company product in my view but very disappointed.
