I’ve bought a Hitachi 1.5 ton Kashikoi 300i RAU019IVEA inverter split ac(I/d 150d74134 and o/d 150d78765) on 14 july 2015 from Allahabad Refrigeration Works, 6-a, Hastings Road(near high court) Allahabad for almost 53k and the same was installed on 16 july 2015. i bought inverter ac because apart from uniform cooling it was supposed to save electricity hence it’s almost 20k more expensive in comparison to normal air conditioners. It’s not even a year yet but my ac is not cooling very well and it is consuming much much more electricity than a non inverter ac. i run this ac only for 8 to 10 hours a day and i got a bill of rs.3525 for the period between 19 may to 19 june 2016, which is way too much for my one bedroom home, it means this inverter ac is consuming rs.2500+ per month which equals a regular 2star ac’s power consumpition and to think that I’ve paid almost 53k for this useless ac. I’ve complained to the dealer Allahabad Refrigeration Works 6-A, (near high court)Hastings Road, Allahabad almost 4 times but no one came to attend my complaint, then I sent an email to Hitachi customer care on 12 june 2016 regarding my complaint and I asked Hitachi to immediately replace my machine with a new one as it is still under warranty. In reply I got an auto response sms stating my break down request no 16061302507, and that was it. It’s been almost a month since I first lodged my complaint to the dealer Allahabad Refrigeration Works 6-A, (near high court)hastings Road, Allahabad and almost 8 days since I sent a mail to Hitachi customer care and to my utter disbelief, not a single person came to attend my complaint.i am deeply disappointed with Hitachi home and life solutions(india)ltd. for this kind of highly unprofessional, deplorable and almost arrogant way of handling their customer’s genuine complaints.now i want my money back.
