Refund from Shoper.in – Rs.3,256/-: Ms. Reena Panchal of Thane, Maharashtra placed order # SHOPER1021 with Shoper.in. She made payment through EBS which was confirmed by email from EBS dt.09-03-2017. The customer however did not receive the product and there was no response from Shoper.in to the customer’s email. Ms. Panchal posted her complaint at ICF on 20-03-2017 and the matter was taken up the parties concerned. After follow-ups, Ms. Panchal got her money back by 01-04-2017.

Complaint against Reliance General Insurance / Medi Assist India TPA – Rs.32,643/-:
Prashant Moda of Delhi (Email: modapkbl(at)rediffmail.com), had submitted his mediclaim bill with Medi Assist India, TPA of Reliance General Insurance in June 2009. The claim was not settled till January 2010 when he posted the complaint with ICF and ICF took up the complaint with Reliance/Mediassist. His claim was finally settled on 13-05-2010 for Rs.32.643.

Refund from DTDC – Rs.1,040/-: Mr. Vivek Sharma of Bangalore, Karnataka (vivek0217[@]gmail.com) sent a courier through DTDC , reference number D17166789, on 10th May 2014 but it was lost on its way to Delhi. Package contained shoes worth Rs800 which was declared. He had submitted all documents in support of his claim of Rs 1040 (800+ 240 courier charges) but DTDC were not processing the same. Mr. Sharma posted his complaint with ICF on 12-08-2014 and finally got his claim settled by 04-09-2014.

Refund from snapdeal.com – Rs.22,000/- : Salil Tripathi of Chinchwad, Pune-411019, Maharashtra (saliltripathi.8889[@]outlook.com) ordered Iphone 4 through snapdeal.com on 12th Nov 2014. He did not receive the product though the company gave a non-existing Bluedart AWB. The customer asked for refund but the refund was not forthcoming. He posted his complaint with ICF on 25-11-2014 and the matter was taken up with snapdeal.com. Mr. Tripathi finally got refund by 15-12-2014.

Customer charged for unsolicited debit card – Complaint against ICICI Bank:
Dr. Boopathi Manickam of Madurai (firstname.lastname@example.org) posted a complaint with ICF with regard to ICICI bank debiting charges on account of debit card issued by the bank but was not received by Dr. Manickam. Bank did not respond to his complaints. ICF submitted Dr. Manickam’s complaint to the bank and the charges were subsequently reversed.

Refund from Makemytrip.com – Rs.10,000/-: Mr. Sesha Sai Kuchibhotla, Hyderabad 500008, Telangana booked 2 student tickets on make my trip. Though the 3rd baggage was free for students on British Airways, he was charged Rs.10,000/- @ 5000 Rs per ticket. He raised a complaint with Makemytrip but it was not resolved even after 45 days. The customer posted his complaint with ICF on 12-12-2015 and the matter was taken up with Makemytrip. The customer finally got refund of Rs.10,000/- by 16-12…

Refund from Shopclues – Rs.673/- : Ms. Sujatha Nair of Fort, Mumbai ordered (130128180) for Micro Fibre 3 Double Bedsheets with 6 pillow covers on 24/10/17 with Shoplcues but they sent her one Doormat instead. The customer sent numerous emails to Shopclues but there was no action on their part to resolve the issue. Ms. Nair posted her complaint with ICF on 01-11-2017 and the matter was taken up with Shopclues. Ms. Nair finally got her refund by 10-11-2017.

Mr. Tarun Kapur of 55 Adarsh Nagar, Iddgah Road, Moradabad-244001 posted a complaint with the forum on 10-07-2009 for the following : Problem with the functioning of handset, non-co-operative dealer and service centre. We had taken up the matter with Samsung and Mr. Kapur’s handset was replaced.

But before starting of the new session he applied for the withdrawal of his daughter from the school and requested to refund the fees of Rs.14500 which the school authorities denied to refund. Mr.S.K.Gupta of Noida, who was contracted by AutoIndia to work as an Auto Expert for their web portal http://www.autoindia.com, had posted a complaint in the Forum on 19-08-2009 with regard to non-receipt of his dues from AutoIndia. Mr. Gupta now confirms that an amicable settlement agreement has been reached between him and Mr. Binu T.G. of AutoIndia.com for settling the dues by AutoIndia.com.
