Complaint regarding LG AC servicing

I purchased an air conditioner 2.5 yrs back from LG. Few days back, the ac started having cooling issues. LG service center took the condenser unit and diagnosed that the issue was with the condenser and that they have ordered for the required part and the same will be coming In 6-7 days. I got a call from the service centre that the part required has got stopped getting manufactured. My condenser is in a 4 year warranty. They are asking me to purchase a new ac from them by paying the difference amount which is 7000 rs.

I am not able to understand how it is my fault and why is should pay a single penny here. It s LG responsibility to ensure that either the product is repaired or replaced. Does a ac life is only 2.5 yrs.
