I have suffered immense harassment, breach of trust and misbehaviour by the inhumane treatment given to me by MICROMAX SERVICE CENTRE, M G Marg Civil Lines Allahabad

I purchased a new Micromax handset/mobile phone Model No. MICROM X912 IMEI No. 911479700131729 on 25-02-2016 from S.S. Electronics MG Marg Civil Lines Allahabad. within 15 days of purchase the handset started giving trouble. On showing it to the retailer they recommended the handset to be given to service centre located opposite to S. S. Electronics, MG Marg Civil Lines Allahabad.

The Micromax Service Centre assured that they will replace this handset and a new mobile phone will be given to me after 15-20 days as there is a problem in the software of the handset.

After waiting for more than one and a half months and several reminders they offered me an old, used phone in the name of replacement of my new phone. I refused to accept the phone and created another job sheet and assured to me that either they will replace this phone with a new phone or they will return back my handset to me.

Since then it has been 4 times the same story has been repeated where I have been offered an old used phone instead of my new phone which I have refused to accept. Adding to this the service centre employees who are a young batch of boys and girls misbehaved with me, abused me, my wife and my daughter and threatened me not to take any action.

I am an elderly person of 65 years of age who has been harassed for almost 5 months now but could not get my phone back.

All other customers who were standing there had the similar complaints where they informed that this service centre took away their new phones and offers them old used phones in the name of replacement. When they refuse to accept the other customers informed about rude and abusive behaviour of service centre employees.
