I placed an order for a Laptop on 14 Oct 17 with an exchange Offer with my old laptop for a total amount of 50590 INR . On 16 Oct 17 , the Ekart employee came to deliver my order. He tested my old laptop as per exchange requirements and my laptop passed all the tests as per exchange requirements. But he denied to exchange it stating that my old laptop should work for at least 30 min on battery but the exchange requirements were only for 30 seconds on battery. My battery backup was More than 30 seconds during test.
On 16 Oct 17 , I went to ekart logistics (khurda division) for lodging a complaint and to test my laptop.
They also denied to test my laptop and When I demanded to give me a written statement for denial they started verbally abusing me. I called up the Flipkart Customer Care Executive and informed them about this incident.
They assured me that my old laptop would be exchanged and my order would be delivered on or before 19 Oct 17.
So I left the Ekart logistics Office believing that my laptop would be exchanged and I would get my order.
But on 19 Oct 17 , I received a notification that my order is cancelled and my money would be refunded on or before 27 Oct 17.
They cancelled my order for which I already paid without my knowledge and my consent.
I cancelled some of my personal plans believing that I would get my order between these days which never happened.
Moreover the Flipkart executive promised me on phone that I will receive my laptop on or before 19 Oct 17 which never happened.
All the statements stated by me are true and best to my knowledge. I also have all recorded conversations with Flipkart executives and ekart logistics.
I am also attaching a screenshot of the exchange policy where it is clearly mentioned that old laptop should work for at least 30 seconds on battery without charger.
