I have purchase a handset VN 38847 on 08/03/2016( Jan.2016 make) at a cost of Rs.14339/-. Now the set is out of order. The authorised service centre at Trivandrum city , after checking the phone, informed me that , it’s motherboard damaged and the replacement cost will be Rs.18000/-. Please note that, to attend the defect in a set which I purchased at a cost of Rs.14339, i have to be paid Rs.18000/- Motorola Company is one of the world’s pioneer and renowned firm in the production of phone and other similar accessories, We expect, a responsible attitude from companies part. I suspect, there is some inherent defect in the manufacturing the hand set which I purchased. That is why it became defective within 2 years. Hence the company has to show the courtesy to repair it free of cost or at marginal cost, which the customer can bear. Hoping such a customer friendly attitude from your part.
