I have requested for a new broadband connection with Hathway internet service provider, a person calls from Hathway and asked me about the address he confirms that we have a feasibility at your home address a connection will be done within 48 Hours, he came and collected all necessary documents with check of Rs3100/-.

I have waited for 10 days after that I given a call to customer care they have taken a complaint and provided me a request no. they confirmed within 24hours your problem will be resolved. next day again I given call to customer care to know the status of my request. now the surprise came, they told your location is not feasible we cant do the new connection we will refund your amount within 30 working days

my question why the person confirms and collects money if the location is not covered. Now I need to do follow up for getting my money back.
