Complaint regarding non-delivery by Amazon

This is to bring to your notice that i ordered a product as Fossil Smartwatch from Amazon on the 13th october 2018.It had a price of 20000 INR but i got it at a reasonably good discount for 12500 at that point of time.I had paid the amount online while ordering.First Amazon responded that day would deliver by 23 rd of October 2018.By 22nd, it even reached the kolkata hub, which is near Barasat – the delivery address.But then suddenly, without any substantial reason the delivery date got changed to 26th, and then again to 31st October.

Then to add insult to the injury, yesterday Amazon told that the product was lost and they would refund back my money.This is totally unacceptable. Amazon being such a coveted company, i would expect a much more responsible behaviour than this. I was at no fault for this whole scenario – Amazon has failed to deliver the product.How can i be compensated for this? I would expect Amazon to allow me to get the same product again at the same price which i had originally bought it for – at a later point of time, or a gift coupon which i can use to buy that product at a later point of time, even if the discount is not as much as it is now.

I would be obliged if you can kindly look into the scenario and get back to me at the earliest with a positive response.
