This complaint is with respect to the order that I had placed on www.sendmygift.com, the main office is located in Bangalore. Order # 145026343. I had placed the order on January 19th to deliver a bouquet and cake to my friend on Goa. The amount was transferred from my HDFC Bank Account, Ref # 160198114283. I was assured by the Customer Care Executive that as per Standard Delivery it will be delivered by noon on January 23rd. On 23rd when I called them, they refused to deliver the gift and told me that as per their terms and condition it would be delivered only by 8 pm or 9 pm without fail. I requested them but they declined. At 10:15, when I call them, they tell me it will not be delivered as the seller could not be located. I cancelled the order. The next day when I called again, they said that they would attempt delivery by 24th noon. However, they again did not deliver. I cancelled the order and requested refund. They said that within 24-48 hours, I will receive an email confirmation on refund details. After that since 4 days, I am calling them, the executive give me different information and make me hold the line for 15 minutes. As a result of this, my phone bill has increased by 500 rupees or so. Moreover, it has caused me great deal of stress and tension and waste of time. On January 26th, I call and speak to Mr. Wxxxxxm Axxxxxxm who told that he will remind the concerned team and the refund email would be sent 100% by noon. However, till night, I have neither received an email confirmation and when I try to call them, they block my call or disconnect. Hence, I request you to kindly ensure that they refund my money of 599 rupees and also compensate for my phone bills or so that I have invested. This is a fraudulent website and they are cheating many customers with outdated products or by not sending the gift on time. This website needs to be banned.
