A import consignment was coming from Japan through UPS. A mail regarding this coming from Ms. Sxxxxl Dxxxxt, Border clearance, Mumbai UPS on 28.08.2017.
We informed her that the shipment will be cleared by Import Certificate issued by CLE for exemption of duty. We have sent them the original Import Certificate on 29.08.2017. The original certificate has been received by UPS Mumbai on 31.08.2017. Receiver name is Pxxxxd. after that, we have not getting any reply from Ms. Sxxxxxxl Dxxxxxt. We given her several mails. After 20 days, we have received our import consignment. But, we didn’t get any original documents like Bill of Entry & our import certificate from UPS Mumbai. We have complaint about the same several times, called them every day, but their customer care teams are unable to given us any reply. we have again register a complaints in UPS no. 1-72236995312 dt. 07.10.2017, but after passing 10 days, they have not given us a proper answer. The import certificate has to be submitted to the CLE, Kolkata because without submission of this, CLE could not issue new Import certificate. Our future imports will hampered. We need a proper & good service from UPS. They are irritated us. they could not informed us about the original Import Certificate, whether they have or they misplaced our certificate, they do not given us a proper answer. I need a proper clarification.
