I had ordered for one Symphony Diet cooler costing Rs 7786/- from ShopClues on 18 May 16. The item was delivered in defective condition and returned on 3 Jun.
On 17 Jun the item was reverse picked up. On Jun 29 company informed that refund will be processed in 5-7 working days.
On 15 Jul the company again informed that refund being processed on priority.
On 22 Jul the company informed that by mistake the item has been processed for replacement instead of refund and I should refuse to accept the delivery and then they would refund me the money.
On 8 Aug the company said they have received refusal of item and refund process is on. On 10, 23, Aug the company kept asking for 48 hrs to process refund. On 26 Aug the company informed that refund in process and payment details within 48 hrs will be forwarded to me.
On 12 Sep, 14 Sep the company informed that refund in process. Then on 17 Sep the company informed that the item can be replaced and not refunded.
After 4 months of correspondence the company is now saying that they will send replacement. The cooler was ordered for summers and the company initially agreed for refund and contined with the refund status for 4 months. It’s a breach of trust and harassment by ShopClues.
