I have ordered a Delux double Canvas Foldable cupboard in Rediffshopping.com website. This cupboard is worth Rs3000/- for which I received a discount and I had to pay Rs1748/- Including Shipping charges. The order ID of this product was 11374471.
This product was ordered on 28th March 2015. for which I had paid full amount of Rs1748/- through Credit Card.
I received a product approved Mail on 31st March 2015, and was told that the product would reach by 4- 7 Working days. I received another email (attached) which states that the product has been shipped by seller on 1st April 2015 and would be delivered within 4-5 Working days.
I have not received the delivery till April 15th 2015. Every time when I call the customer care (9223020000) regarding my shipment, they give a template answer to wait for 2 working days to receive the shipment.
I asked for the refund of the product as I have lost faith in their business model. They told me to reject the delivery and wait for 2-4 working days after rejecting the delivery to receive the refund amount.
My concern is that they will never deliver the product, so that I can reject. I can’t wait endlessly to receive my refund amount as it has been held up with them from past 20 days. I am sure that they would ask me to wait for another 10- 20 days easily to get my refund. I want a justice in this regard.
Also, I notice in online shopping is that the nexus between online portal, seller and delivery team to held up the delivery and to refund the amount after 2-3 months. during this time they would have got the interest of the amount being paid. If we opt for Cash on delivery model, the product will be delivered within a day anywhere in India.
