Complaint regarding order with Televantage.in

On 16/10/2015 I ordered a product online from Televantage.in. On 16/10/2015 the online shopping site showed the product as available. I paid the price via debit card and got order confirmation number ORD1621849.

On 16/10/2015 I got a phone call from Televantage.in to confirm the order and they promised delivery in 5-6 working days.

On 17/10/2015 Televantage.in calls on the phone and asks for my bank account number to arrange a refund. They simply inform the product is out of stock and demand the bank account number to refund the payment. They do not answer any questions as to why the product was shown as available when the order was being placed or why they called and said they would deliver in 5-6 days and then next day call and say the product is out of stock. They simply demand the bank account number which I have not given.

I emailed them asking why the product was shown available while placing the order. They simply reply the product is out of stock and ask for my bank account number. I have not provided my bank account number

Is this right? Can they accept orders and confirm delivery then say the product is out of stock? Thank you for your assistance.
