I purchased a gas stove of prestige (model no. GTM 04 SS) 4 burner glass top gas stove on 3rd september 2015 in the name of Pawan Jaju from Snapdeal.com. When my mother started the gas stove the very first time, it caught fire and she burnt her thumb. I had to call customer service department. A technician visited on 8/9th september. I spoke to him about replacement but he said it wont be needed and fixed the problem. The stove worked fine for a month. Then the leakage started again. I had to switch off the gas via regulator every time after using the gas. And on 19th december it caught fire again. My mother was quick to react and switched off the regulator. I lodged a complaint on 19th evening at prestige customer care service center( complaint no.-HARY1590461). The technician(Mr. Axxxxxxxp) visited on 23rd and couldn’t fix it and told he will visit next day. Now(on 24th) he is saying he will change the valve and the problem will be fixed. I don’t want a temporary solution like the last time and don’t want any accident to take place at my home. i have spoken to customer representative and the manager out there but they are not ready to provide replacement and are telling me to get the valve changed and the gas should work fine. I have relied on the solution provided by them last time but am not ready to wait for any another accident to occur.
