I have purchased a RedMi-2 mobile online through Flipkart. After delivery, I found that the product is totally faulty, it was not working. Then I sent a complain to Flipkart and requested them to take the product back and as I am not satisfied with the brand, I’d like to purchase Lenovo A6000 Plus from them from the same seller i.e. WS Retail. But after long conversations for over a week, their customer care executive has told me there is no option of choice for another brand, I have to take the same model. They will send another after I’ll send the faulty product to them through courier, as they have no pick up facility at that time. They assured me they will refund me the money I’d spent for the courier. Now when I have informed them about the courier cost, they are telling me they will refund the money in Flipkart wallet only, not in my bank account. If the money will be refunded in Flipkart wallet, then I have to purchase something from WS Retail only through Flipkart to use that amount. If I don’t buy anything, then the amount will be in the wallet with no use of mine. This is a cheating they are doing to me that they have forced me to purchase something with the amount they are going to refund me as redemption of courier charge.

I need proper action against Flipkart in this regard.
