Complaint regarding refund from HDFC Bank Smartbuy

I had booked a ticket from Jammu to Srinagar on 23rd May 2016. HDFC Bank SmartBuy Ref No : 146400397285260. The booking status was shown to be pending and later I was told that the booking failed and the amount would be refunded to me withing 7 working days.

Since then I have called their customer support ‘N’ number of times. Each time I got only one response that the refund is under process and it will be done withing 7 working days. But the refund never came and today it’s 13th June 2016 !

To check, I dropped a mail to support[@] and smartbuy[@] I got a response from goibibo, They said that the refund has already been processed on 26th May 2016, 3 days after the booking failure !!!

Seems like somehow my money vanished into thin air between goibio to HDFC smart buy. I have used goibio a lot of times. Never had any issue with them regarding refunds. I can vouch for them. So the culprit has to be HDFC smart buy.

Not sure whether I will get my money back or not, but I am not going to recommend HDFC smart but to anyone.
