On 6 January 2017, I tried to book an international air ticket thru the travel website – MAKEMYTRIP.com. Though the full payment was debited immediately from my HDFC Bank A/C, the ticket was NOT ISSUED. When I called the help desk, I was informed that as the fare had changed, before the ticket was issued, the sale had not gone thru.

I requested that the amount I paid Rs.37,256/- be refunded to my HDFC A/C. I was assured that the refund process was already initiated and that the amount would reflect in my a/c within the next 3-4 working days. UNFORTUNATELY, today we are on 18 January 2017 and there is still no sign of the cancellation amount in my bank account. I had several long calls with MAKEMYTRIP.com help desk on several occasions, but except for telling me repeatedly that the refund had been initiated on 6 January, they were unable to provide me any further transaction information of proof of refund. Request you to kindly help me recover my refund from MAKEMYTRIP.com.
