This complain is regarding the method or practise opted by Reliance. While upgrading their CDMA network to 4G, Reliance has asked its customer to upgrade their number to 4G from CDMA numbers(Included Data Cards as well). In the month of May 2016 Reliance rolled out a message that all CDMA numbers including the data cards needs to migrate into 4G otherwise their number will be terminated.

While upgrading the number to 4G they told us that the same plans would be applicable to the users which they were using earlier and there was no information given to us related to 4 plans either on to its website nor with the customer care.

In the first week of July 2016 Reliance has successfully launched the 4G services and on 16th July they shared the revised 4G plans with us which are almost 4 times costlier. for the same data. Now if we compare the previous price for the same data with the new price then its is almost 4 times costlier.

Initially while upgrading the numbers to 4G Reliance has never shared the 4G prices with us unless they launched their services. If Reliance would have shared this information earlier then I would have not upgraded my number to 4G and nor I would have purchase their 4G device which I bought it for Rs 990.

I believe that there should be a case file against Reliance for this malpractice which Reliance has opted here. My Data Card Number is 9374682057.
