Complaint regarding room booking through Yatra

I have booked hotel online via yatra.com for the stay on 30th Dec’17. Attached is the booking confirmation pdf for your reference.

Issue: At the time of hotel check-in, hotel denied us in providing room and informed us its overbooked. However, we informed them its pre-booked by us and we got the confirmation for the same. The hotel owner was so rude and he asked us to cancel the booking at that point of time and I was with my family.
I immediately tried contacting ‘Yatra’ via phone but i couldn’t connect them.
Later, with so much of arguments he suggested some other hotel (Bombay Residency) for stay. Since, i was with my family i didn’t had any other option without opting it.

Hotel Bombay Residency: The alternate stay they provided is not worth of the amount which i paid (Rs. 3664) for Hotel Citywalkin Residency. I raised this concern immediately with the hotel and they said they don’t have any other option. I again tried calling yatra, however call didn’t connect.

Yatra: Finally on 1st Jan’18 i called yatra and explained the situation which i have faced and i have claimed for refund of my booking amount.
Yatra is not ready to provide the refund – As Hotel Citywalkin had arranged alternate stay.

As a customer, if i have booked room in particular place – Its Yatra responsibility to provide the same room for the customer.
If they have failed to do so, then they have refund the amount which customer have paid.

Please assist me with the above concern/issue and help me with the solution.

    If you have availed the alternate stay, then refund on this booking will not be possible. You would have complaint and denied for the alternate stay before availing it. We are not able to check your booking reference, kindly connect with us at forums@yatra.com, to enable us to check the issue.
