Mr. Tarun Kapur of 55 Adarsh Nagar, Iddgah Road, Moradabad-244001 posted a complaint with the forum on 10-07-2009 for the following : Problem with the functioning of handset, non-co-operative dealer and service centre. We had taken up the matter with Samsung and Mr. Kapur’s handset was replaced.

Prashant Moda of Delhi (Email: modapkbl(at)rediffmail.com), had submitted his mediclaim bill with Medi Assist India, TPA of Reliance General Insurance in June 2009. The claim was not settled till January 2010 when he posted the complaint with ICF and ICF took up the complaint with Reliance/Mediassist. His claim was finally settled on 13-05-2010 for Rs.32.643.

Mr.S.K.Gupta of Noida, who was contracted by AutoIndia to work as an Auto Expert for their web portal http://www.autoindia.com, had posted a complaint in the Forum on 19-08-2009 with regard to non-receipt of his dues from AutoIndia. Mr. Gupta now confirms that an amicable settlement agreement has been reached between him and Mr. Binu T.G. of AutoIndia.com for settling the dues by AutoIndia.com.

Refund from Fitness First – Rs.3,000 – Ms. Aspriha Bhaumik of Indiranagar, Bangalore 560008, Karnataka had paid advance to a fitness club called Fitness First. The Club was later closed down but Ms. Bhaumik did not receive refund of the advance amount. She posted her complaint at ICF on 16-07-2016 and the matter was taken up with the Club. Mr. Rupendrasinh Parmar of Narmada, Gujarat (Email: kaalirupen(at)yahoo.co.in) had lodged a complaint on 01-03-2010 regarding servicing of his defective Pureit. ICF had submitted the complaint to Hindustan Lever and the same was resolved on 02-03-2010.
Complaint against Syberplace – Rs.7,999/-: Mrs. Sugi Jose of Rt nagar, Bangalore, Karnataka had placed an order with Syberplace on 07-03-2016 for a smartphone. However, she neither got the phone nor refund and there was no communication from Syberplace. Mrs. Jose posted her complaint with ICF on 24-03-2016 and the matter was taken up Syberplace. After much persuasion and guidance from ICF, the customer got post-dated cheque for refund together with interest.

Mr. Ashish Saxena of Indore (Email: monikaakskwr(at)gmail.com) had taken Hospital cash Insurance from Royal Sundaram for him and his wife. His wife admited in hospital referred by the attending doctor. Royal sundaram rejected his Hospital Claim saying that their doctor panel thought that there was no need to admit in Hospital.
