I had purchased LG Nexus 5 D581 (16GB Black) through Amazon online sale. This phone was bought from a friend mail ID since amazon purchases was through a app and I did not have a smart phone to download the app.
The phone is now not working properly, wherein the phone is heating up when on charge and also battery is draining out immediately when unplugged. I visited LG service centre on KR road, bangalore on Oct 4,2016 who told me that they will not service only India manufactured phones. They said the phone I had was not India made. They also checked the battery and mentioned that there seems to be no issue with the battery. They suggested I write to Amazon. I raised a complaint on Amazon on 5 Oct, 2016 giving the details of the complaint. They told me that the person who bought the phone should write from the registered email ID. I requested my friend to do so and he wrote vide his email dated Oct 7, 2016. Then Amazon takes up the case and asks me to visit LG service centre again and get a letter of refusal. I visited LG service centre again on Oct 8, 2016. They refused to give any such letter. I write to Amazon with a copy to the LG service centre again mentioning about the refusal. Amazon simply transfers the case to Gadgets Guru. Iam yet to receive a revert from Amazon, Gadgetsguru , LG service centre. Meanwhile Amazon is asking me to visit someother LG service centre.
I now request your goodself to intervene and help me get this issue resolved. Iam without a phone and deeply inconvenienced. As you may be aware all my banking activities and mail alerts is to this number. I do not want to invest in another smart phone at this juncture. The phone is under 12 months warranty and iam only requesting them to rightly replace the same or return my money. I would also want them to compensate for all the inconvenience caused.
Eagerly awaiting your revert. Enclosed: the invoice copy and the email trail
