I have placed an order for a Epson Printer on SnapDeal.com .with price of Re. 1/- with Rs. 30/- as delivery charges. The order was placed without any issues in the SnapDeal.com and the order #5790736068 was generated on 14th April 2015 with an estimated delivery date of 19th April 2015.
On 18th April 2015 I called SnapDeal.com helpdesk to get an status of the order as when I check the status on the SnapDeal. Com it is showing as processing. The representative informed me that the order has been canceled due to out of stock. However, I was not informed at all and the SnapDeal.com is still showing the status as processing.
On my insistence they have launched a complain # 18696971 and I was informed that I will get a call in 24 hrs from their grevience cell.
The representative moreover informed me that there was a system glitch due to which the product price was shown as Re.1/- instead of the actual price and that I should place a new order if I want to get that printer.
Current price of that Epson printer is 12500/-. Why should my order be cancelled if it was their problem that the SnapDeal.com site is showing wrong price? I placed a legitimate order on SnapDeal. Com and it should get fulfilled. Attached herewith is the copy of the order placed on SnapDeal.com.
